With a strong heritage in precision instrumentation, this organisation provides cutting-edge analytical technologies to critical process industries worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeing an Account Manager to drive their analytical product line across Louisiana.
This technical commercial position supports both direct and channel sales teams with expert-level application knowledge for analytical instrumentation. You'll be instrumental in achieving revenue targets while serving as the technical bridge between customers, product management, and sales channels.
· Meet or exceed annual revenue goals for analytical product line
· Provide expert technical support to sales channels and key accounts
· Develop deep application knowledge for analytical solutions in target industries
· Drive sales by developing winning customer solutions that differentiate from competitors
· Engage directly with strategic accounts to develop new business opportunities
· Enhance sales team competence through training and knowledge sharing
· Collaborate with product management on regional requirements and inventory planning
· Lead promotional initiatives and support marketing collateral development
· Review bid packages, assist with product selection and project negotiations
· Develop comprehensive proposals including technical specifications and pricing
· Coordinate between customers and internal teams(engineering, manufacturing, QA)
· 5+ years in technical sales or applications engineering for process analytical instrumentation
· Strong technical knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., gas and liquid analysers, spectrometers)
· Proven ability to support sales channels and develop key accounts
· Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical information clearly
· Professional demeanour with strong customer-facing skills
· Experience developing technical proposals and bid packages
· Ability to interpret customer needs and position appropriate solutions
· Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America
